Stolpersteine

The Stolpersteine in memory of persecuted and murdered Jewish fellow citizens of the town aim to counteract the fading of memory over time and act as a memorial. Artist Gunter Demnig has laid exactly 49 Stolpersteine in Lingen. The Forum Juden Christen im Altkreis Lingen e.V. and the town of Lingen have published a "Wegweiser zu den Stolpersteine".
