Lingen emphasizes the economy.
The Administration of Lingen emphasizes enterprises:

A strong partnership – you can also draw profits from this fact.

The private residential development has been given a long tradition and great significance. New forms of innovative living concepts for life partnerships and singles for the most differentiated demands of life are pursued.
The 'Emsauenpark' in Reuschberge and the project “Wohnen am Wasser“ show new living possibilities. Future oriented building materials and techniques concerning the “energy saving construction“ play just as well an important role as the generation spanning accommodation offers.

The wish to work in one's home city is for most of the citizens of Lingen reality: More than

Most of those people work in more than 3.200 business enterprises, industry, trade, commerce, and the services sector form a healthy mix of trade and industry. The focus is in the industrial sector of the business site. The energy sector is especially strongly marked. Because Lingen is the health-center of this region, it offers a lot of medical jobs.
